When you send a message to Jimmy Hiller he does read them and respond no matter how minor the question is and if something does happen Jimmy Hiller will call you personally to try and correct the problem. James Waller is an outstanding Service Technician. He arrived at house about 1:30 am Sunday morning, assessed the problem, and went to obtain the necessary parts. Steve Symons was great. We purchased two HVAC systems from Hiller over the last 5 years (upstairs and downstairs) and have had some issues that Hiller has remedied. This time was no different. The new upstairs system has never been completely free of leaks so Steve spent a lot of time trying to find the problem. He finally determined the issue was in the line set inside the wall. Likely a small leak that we decided can wait until the fall for action. Customer satisfaction was Steve's main concern and he achieved his goal. I can say that Hiller has stuck with us and stands behind their work. Steve represents this value extremely well!

Yout service is stupendous. Our hot water tak sprang a leak on Sunday, May 12 at about 10-10:30 pm. I tookj a chbance and called you folks zt about 11:00pm. The lady who spoke to me was courteous and after giving her the needed info, see told me that a technician would arrive the next day betwwen 11 and 1:00 pm. On Monday, another lady called at 10:00 am and said the tech would be early at 11:00am. At 11:00 am, Daniel Adkins arrived, discussed my options; returned at 12:00 with the new tank which was completely installed by about 2:15 pm. I had major plumbing issues. basement flooding with rusted pipes I seen Hiller truck across the st. I went and ask if they had time to give me a free estimate.They came right then. gave me an estimate and got me approved and came out the next day and had all my plumbing replaced all in 1 day. Brad Brown and Johnny King installed a tankless water heater, a filtration system, unclogged a drain, and made a new hookup for the refrigerator. Both were great about letting me know what they were doing and how things were coming along. They both are friendly and professional and did not mind my questions and uncertainty about the tankless water heater. I am happy with the new equipment and am so glad they were the team that came to do the work at my house. They are the team that I will request for future work.

I just wanted to share a story about our service today with TD. My 2 yea old daughter briefly met TD this morning on her way out to daycare. Technician came to perform annual plumbing inspection. I had never had a plumbing inspection. Technician found a leak under my sink that could have caused damage to my cabinet. I also needed new hot water tanks. We knew we had minimal hot water so realized this was the reason. Installation took four hours for two tanks. Work was professional and technicians cleaned up their work areas. VERY PLEASED!!

My Thanks to the Hiller Team! First off, I was so happy :-) that when I called on a weekend, I was able to talk with a real person about making an appointment. They are knowledgeable people that could explain the preliminary steps for more than one repair. I had an A/C Freon leak and a water heater leak getting worse each year. (Freon is getting pricey too) The first plumber to arrive, Jeff Siedentop, not only explained the options on the water heater, he also walked me through various other plumbing needs that might be needed now or in the future. (They do have a marvelous home maintenance contract and it’s nice to know what needs to be done, no pressure to buy, just honest information and advice!) That reminded me of an outside faucet leak and a few other minor issues. Then, I was so happy :-) to find that Hiller had Bill Burns coming next, a Project Manager that worked with me to choose the best HVAC Unit for my needs and organize all of that work into one price. In my case, I was so impressed with Jeff’s honest recommendations; I decided to invest in a tank-less water heater system. Jeff’s installation and repairs were really impressive, clean, and efficient as was the HVAC crew, everyone both arrives and finishes as promised or they call you with any changes that might be happening. This really made my day, but it just got better. I found that Hiller also has a great electrical team. Again, they work with you on what you might need then or in the future. I decided to get a little more electrical work done as the new system would free up a big workspace in my garage. The electrical workers also do the same high quality work with attention to detail, I can appreciate. (Just as good as the Heating/AC/plumbing guys, even if they think theirs is better). Yes, I am happy! :-)

I had a hot water heater that would not stay lit. I called Hiller late on Monday March 4th and they said they would be there sometie after 6PM to look at my problem. After arriving, they did a complete inspection of my hot water heater and determined that the control valve was bad due to the problem I was having. My wife and I decided to have a new hot water heater installed vs. repairing the current unit due to the expense involved in repairing the current unit. Hiller had a new gas hot water heater on their truck and installed the new hot water heater during this visit. They did not complete the job until almost 10PM that evening but that was no problem with them. My wife and I were very satisfied with the whole situation and the fact that we were taken care of during this visit.

We have used Hiller Plumbing for two years now. My husband and I called Robbie Ford at Hiller Plumbing, asking him if he had any hard water test strips. We also mentioned that there was air coming out of all our faucets when we just had the hot water running. Robbie checked both the hardness of our water and the air in our hot water. He found the problem in the water heater which was installed when the house was built in 1997. Neither of the previous owners ever installed a water filtration system and Robbie found a large amount of sediment at the bottom of the water heater which had been collecting over sixteen years. The sediment was at the level of the lower element, restricting the water flow. Robbie immediately went into action. So what was suppose to have been a short visit for Robbie turned out to be a long visit and a new water heater. Louis helped Robbie to move the old water heater out and get the new one in because of the tight space they had to work with. It looks great next to our new Hiller water filtration system and the inside unit of our new Hiller HVAC system. Robbie was friendly, patient, efficient, and professional. You could not ask for a better plumber or human being. He definitely does not break under the most extreme of pressures and today was an example of that.

Twice a year HVAC and plumbing inspection completed. Added 1 pounds of Freon to both systems. Plumbing inspection went fine. Comments: Showed 20 minutes early which worked out well for me. Received a phone call that confirmed the appointment. Routine work and nothing to really mention. Took care by slipping on their boot coverings - nice touch. Plumber was ready/willing to repair my garbage disposal, but because I am on a home warranty I prefer to use the warranty for work in excess of $60.00. I use Home Warranty of America and it appears that Hiller is not affiliated. In this case that's too bad, but I totally understand the crap a company like yours would have to put up with to affiliate with a home warranty company. You probably run a successful business without the additional work that a warranty company could provide. I am having my disposal fixed by another company that the warranty company is sending. I could have used a "cash" out option and have you return, but that would have cause too much delay in a simple project.



I renewed my maintenance plan for $149.00 with your office yesterday.

I am so comfortable now sitting inside my warm home thanks to James and Leonard. Awesome service guys. I had to have my upstairs unit replaced due to the age and condition of the old one. James and Leonard was prompt with their arrival and finished the job a day ahead of time (you hourly people better slow down lol). I was expecting to be out of heat for 2 days. I wish all companies done business this way. Our home warranty company (Old Republic Home Protection) wanted to use cheap labor and replacement parts. I made a wise decsion and told them no thank you. Even though HIller was probably the most expensive company, there is no price tag you can put on your families piece of mind and comfort with a 10 year PARTS AND LABOR warranty. My service technician Chuck Livingston was the BEST! I was truly impressed with is professionalism and his knowledge about my water heater! Chuck Livingston was very patient and informative with each question I asked! We had a major plumbing issue after hours! Our showers and toilets were backed up and on the verge of overflowing. I made an online service request at 9pm and received a call within 15 minutes to schedule an appointment. I was able to set up the appointment for the next day at the exact time that fit my schedule. Chris Armitage was our technician and he was outstanding. He listened closely to my description of what was going on and diagnosed it instantly without even coming into the house, even though the utility company had told us otherwise. He took a look at the E1 pump and determined that it was indeed the issue, and advised us to have the utility company return to resolve it. He kindly waived the $50 service call fee and showed me exactly what was wrong and what to tell the utility company. I had them come back and they were very skeptical about his opinion, however after taking a second look they agreed that he was absolutely right and made the needed repairs free of charge. Many thanks to Chris with Hiller Plumbing and the folks at Knox Chapman Utility for resolving our problem in such a timely professional manner. I will definitely call Hiller and request Chris the next time we have an issues.

Don"t think it is anythin that they did; but now our shower/bathtub cannot get HOT water. All we get is tepid or over tepid water from the system. Plumbing problems always seem to happen on the weekend. After failing to get another firm out to fix a leak, I called Hiller. The plumber showed up on time, on a Sunday, was professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem. I was very happy with the work performed. Very good experience.We started having problems with the toilets gurgling/bubbling about 4 weeks ago, got stuff to treat the pipes, it worked for about two weeks and did it again, redid the process then it got bad enough to back up into the bathtub. Call on Thursday Jan 31, Duncan came out on Friday and spent the better part of the day (in the cold) trying to fix it, found roots in the sewer line. Could not get it all came back on Sat. and got it clear enough to flow. (hopefully it will work till we can have the line replaced.) It is so hard to put into words how great of a job your employee, Jeff Siedentop, did cleaning and repairing our kitchen drain on Saturday, January 12, 2013. He was extremely courteous, polite, was very careful to protect our flooring and cabinets by putting down tarps, rugs, etc. to ensure no big mess to be cleaned up after he finished. He actually cleaned the inside of the cabinet and the floor when he was done so I had nothing to do but sit back and enjoy the fact that finally our plumbing issue was resolved. Your company was the 3rd plumber we had at our home since December 26, 2012, tryiing to resolve our issue. Frustrated is not even close to what we felt. We signed up for your annual contract and will definitely call your company and request Jeff the next time we have work to be done. The only problem we have had is that when Jeff did our invoice on his iPad it showed that we received our copy by e-mail. We have yet to receive that, but I know sometimes e-mails just go into some "black hole". I would appreciate it if someone would send me another e-mail with the completed work order/receipt for my records. THANK YOU again so much for sending Jeff to take care of our problem.

Next day, the facet continue it's old ways, so I called Hiller Plumbing and told the Lady answering phone that my facet was not fixed right. That same day, two Men from Hiller Plumbing arrived at my house. Not only took care of my facet, they also adjusted my pipes underneath the sink where a leak was dripping. I am SO Glad Hiller finally services this area! Your staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable. We came home from vacation to find our heat was out and the unit not running. It was after hours on a Friday! I know that if I had used a local company, I would have to wait until Monday to get anyone out here.



Broc came out and got my heat up running again. He even came back Saturday morning to find out the exact problem since it was too dark Friday night to do any detective work! We have heat again! We were working with our Home Owners Insurance Company and Her's and His Pluming. Our hot water heater l lady I spoke with said she would have a went out on 12/17/12 and when I called Hiller, we were without hot water for FIVE days. The wonderful lady I spoke with told me she would have a technician at my home within an hour and that he would look at the problem, give us an estimate and make the repairs on the same day.Most importantly he would wave the service charge because of the problems. One hour later a tec. by the name of Jeremy was at my home. He was very Professional looking, Very Courteous and most of all Very Knowledgeable. He looked at our water heater and informed us that it was not only unsafe to use because of the tank leaking, it also needed work to be done on the gas control valve. We ended up having to call the manufacturer and get a replacement number to get a new water heater. Jeremy helped us by talking to the factory rep and explaining the problem and when he was finished we had what we needed to get some hot water. Jeremy did all he could do and more !! I ended up Going to Lowes and exchanging the old heater for a new one. On 12 /21/12 I installed the hot water heater myself , and buy 7 PM we had hot water again. I FIRED the Insurance company and also FIRED Hers and His Pluming. Jeremy is exactly what I would expect of a First Class Company. He did everything he possibly could to help us. I only wish he could have done the work on our water heater but this was a warranty situation. In the future I will call Hiller to do anything in my home and I will be sure and tell all of the people that I know of how Wonderful Hiller is.Thank you so much for all your help in this matter.

We had an excellent experience. The main sewer line plugged up just before a number of people was coming in for the holidays. We first called a local plumbing company and got their answering service who said they would have someone get back to us. After waiting a few hours with no return call we decided to call Hiller. We were told that someone would be here between three and four PM. A short time later a gentleman called and said he would be here within an hour. In exactly an hour the truck was in front of my house. The gentleman's name was Patrick. He presented himself as a professional, very clean and neat. After I explained the problem he went under the house and came back a short time later and told me what he had found and what he would have to do to correct the problem. He took care of the problem in about one hour total. He also cleared out a very unpleasant mess that had overflowed under the house which I did not expect him to do. When Patrick completed the job and told me what the bill was I was very happy because I was expecting a much larger bill. I will certainly use Hiller when ever I need the services of a plumber.

The HVAC tech did a very thorough inspection and corrected a problem I had with my heat pump. Kenneth was out on Monday Feb 19 (he arrived an hour before the scheduled appt, many thanks) for the annual plumbing call. Installed a overflow tank, drained the water heater and inspected the plumbing. My wife mentioned that she hears water flowing/running through the night at intervals. Kenneth inspected and ran diagnostic and could not find the problem. Over the course of the week, the problem continued.



I made another service call and again Kenneth and Gary arrived, this time 3 hours before the scheduled time. Both time Hiller called and made sure this was not an inconvenience. WOW! Kenneth installed a flapper on the toilet tank and then to top it off replaced the toilet seat that I had just bought, then did not charge me for the service call or the flapper, Like the commercial says if it isn't done right they will make it so. The men arrived when they said that they would and were very professional and I was impressed that they put on "booties" before they walked on my carpet and if they had to go back to the truck, they took the trouble to put on the booties and spread rugs and cover where they were working. They had to re-set one toilet and checked for other leaks. Everything seemed to be working ok, however the next day we noticed water on the floor of the closet next to the compartment where the water heater is installed. They got another water heater and installed it. They did a neat job of the installation, The plumber suggested that I might have a septic tank problem (as it turned out, I did). The copper pipe installation for the water heater was neat and a professional job.

I had just recently purchased my first home and was advised to get the home warranty which the seller would pay for. As the weather became colder, I noticed my house was not heating up properly. I called the warranty company and they sent out two individuals to fix the problem. One of these individuals boasted 25 years of experience in this industry. After having these individuals come out for several hours on each of 3 separate days (they also had to bring out a tech support individual from the manufacturer of the unit), my heat was "allegedly" fixed. However, when the weather dropped down again it became evident that the problem was not fixed as the house was not warming up. Upon the advice of others, I made a service request with Hiller Plumbing. They were able to send someone out the very same day at a time that was very convenient for me. This individual was very friendly and knowledgeable about my heating system. He took the time to give me a better understanding of how the system worked. He was quickly able to identify the 2 problems that my system was having. The system now works great. Our furnace started blowing cold air during the day on Tuesday, 11/6. She called Hiller and was told that a serviceman should be there sometime in the evening. We were called before 8:00 p.m to say that he was on his way. Sherman Creek, your serviceman got the system back up and running within minutes. He said with what he did, that he didn't have to replace any parts, however that it may or may not happen again. He thought the control board might have to be replaced. Yesterday evening, the system started blowing cold air again. We called this morning and Sherman was dispatched again. After looking into it, he determined that the high limit switch needed to be replaced as opposed to the control board, which is a lower cost to us (and very much appreciated). We found Sherman to be polite and professional and will not hesitate to recommend your company to others. Thank you for responding so promptly to our needs.

Mr. Daniel Kelly came on Sunday Morning and replaced our water heater. Mr. Kelly did an excellent job. He was very neat and careful of his surroundings, i.e. he put on "booties" every time he entered our home. He spread plastic around his work place. The latest visit was very routine and they came and did it. I did not have a lot of time since I had to go out but they were done and I was able to go where i needed to be.

My first experience with Hiller is why I stick with them. We recently had to moved to the US and bought a house. I was looking for someone to check out my heat/ac but no one had come by and all these people had been referred by friends. I was having the ducts cleaned since there was a SMELL in the house and they had cats and dogs and my husband is allergic. They opened up the heat/ac and it was under water and they could not go any further without a heat/ac person. I had wanted to call Hiller since I heard them on the radio but all my friends said no. Well then I needed someone so I called and in 30 minutes someone was there. He checked and the men proceeded. I paid and as he left he decided to check the heat part. He was not called for that and it was voluntary on his part but shows how thorough Hiller is. He put his fingers around the coils and it crumbed. My house had been inspected and I paid money for that and the inspectors did not find something like that. All the workmen were astonished. The previous owners must have had leakage in their home. Of course we replaced the whole system. They did a great job. That is why I am still a Hiller customer and by the way many of those friends have gone to Hiller also. I recently joined the Happy Hiller Club and had my first visit with the HVAC Technician - Rodger. He arrived on time, we did a walk thru and he tuned up my 2 1/2t system. I am happy to say I finally have a digital Thermostat panel (my old one never would stay balanced). Our landlord sent a plumber out at my request regarding several issues. One was our bathroom sink. It wouldn't drain. It never has worked properly as long as we have lived here. The plumber was rude and he told our landlord that we had dropped those little plastic things that come on disposable razors down the drain. Our landlord was upset with me. I became upset at the fact that it had never drained properly. Those plumbers were here forever and were meddling around. I didn't feel comfortable with them here. So, this time when I had a problem, I called Hiller Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. I was so pleased with their promptness, the plumber was very kind and actually listened to us as we told him of the problems we have had over the past 4 years with our plumbing. It took him a couple of hours, but he found the root of the problem, literally! The drainage sewer pipe, the main line, was blocked by roots, not little plastic razor covers. Without touching our bathroom sink, toilet, tub, kitchen sink, or washer pipes, he fixed our problem. I will definitely recommend Hiller to everyone that has a problem with plumbing or the other services the Hiller company provides. Thank you, Hiller! I was very impressed with your serviceman that was here, and with your company in general. Oh, and since I paid the bill, I requested an additional copy of the invoice with an explanation of the problem and what was done to fix it, so I could deduct that amount from my rent and include the invoice with my rent check. I had my plumbing inspection today. Along with the walk through, the young gentleman also fixed other plumbing issues. Recently I had problems with my Trane A/C. I had a tight work schedule and was able to schedule an appointment which suited my needs. I came home on a Friday night in late June to find my AC out, 6 very uncomfortable dogs and it was 87 degrees in the house. After doing the basic checks and finding no fixes I called Hiller around 8pm. They were swamped and could not get here till the following evening. I was facing a really difficult situation as my Dad was literally dying and I was trying to get home to Knoxville the next morning. I told the customer rep my situation and she very kindly asked me to hang on. A few minutes later she came back and said they would get a tech out tonight. There was a tech there in 2 hours. Matt was awesome. He thought it was just the capacitor but unfortunately it did not come back to life once replaced. The bad news is it looked like the compressor was shot. He could not replace the compressor that night but promised to be back in the AM and would check my factory warranty. A $3000 repair was not in the cards so I was very concerned. Matt called me first thing on Saturday and said he wanted to try something that was suggested to him by a senior tech. He came back out and tried to bring the unit back up. It worked! My specific model shuts the compressor down if the capacitor blows to protect it. It looks dead but given time it can reset itself. Needless to say I was thrilled and relieved! Matt and Hiller really went out of the way to help me and I am a customer for life.

My Hiller tech was Bill. I didn't get his last name, but he came out and serviced my plumbing on September 6th. It was getting late at night, and I really appreciated that Hiller was able to come out at 11:30 PM. When I met him at the door, I said we'd probably have to re-schedule another day because what I needed done was going to take awhile and it was late. Once I told him what I needed done, he said "That shouldn't take me more than an hour, actually." It surprised the hell out of me.



I just had him take out a toilet and install a new toilet that I had bought from Home Depot. He was quick, very knowledgeable, and made good conversation for so late at night, even! He finished up at 1 AM after starting just around midnight, so he was true to form. Great service, great hours.

I have to say that I started out as a sceptic. I had been a member of the Hiller Club previous and let my membership run out. I had a water heater issue that came up and I called Hillers to get a quote. I had Hiller's to perform the hotwater heater service and decided to sign up again for the Hiller Club. I did this because I had some work done by a less reputable A/C company previously that just did very poor work and did not invest in customer satisfaction, (B & D heating and cooling) for those that might be shopping around. This company had done a real patch up job on my duct work. Needless to say I was a little worried about having more work done. Part of the service you get with the club is A/C check up and cleaning etc. I had the service done and to make a long story short while they were fixing my duct work issue, the A/C formed a leak. I thought as normal I'm going to have to eat this cost even though the issue was not there before all the service was done. Then along came Chris the service manager at Hiller of Nashville. What a star service manager he is! Hiller should put Chris in a big corner office with a view of his domain. Chris not only made sure that they took care of the issue but he made sure that I was a "Happy Hiller" club member. Outstanding job Chris! Hiller has a customer for life and a willing and ready referral source.

I belong to the Happy Hiller Club, and on Friday, August 10th...Kris Wright (HVAC) and Tim Larkin (Plumbing) came to my home. These gentlemen were very professional. Kris checked/cleanded both HVAC units, discussed with me what was needed along with the cost, and had the parts with him for repair. Kris actually dug a hole in the ground for the HVAC unit pipe to drain into. Which was going beyond the extra mile to service the HCAC unit. Tim drained the hot water heater and checked it throughly. He explained to me exactly what was needed in a way that I could understand. Tim checked all the bathroom pluming and fixed a commode where water was running inside the tank. He showed me how to clip a little hose to keep it above the water...which I can do in the future, if needed. Tim and Kris were very honest with me and their work was exceptional. I would recommend Hiller to everyone.

Danny Victory came to our house today to look at our HVAC unit. I was 99% sure it was the fan motor. He went through my whole unit he checked every capacitor he checked 100% of my unit. I have had other "service" people out in the past and I have never had anyone with such attention to detail and a desire to help me out. Danny found it actually was the motor and replaced it. in doing so he found a problem with the new motor so another service tech came out named Kris. they worked together and got my unit up and working with no problems. Both guys were VERY polite and informative about everything they did.



When Danny was putting my unit together he even added replacement screws to make sure everything was right. These are the same screws the other people had dropped and were just to lazy or did not care enough to pick up.

A/C went out with no notice late evening on Monday. Called the company I have a service contract with and they said earliest may be late Thursday. Called Hiller, they said they would dispatch an after hours tech around 7:00 PM on Tuesday. Tech arrived just before 6:00 Tuesday (Lee Watson) diagnosed the problem. The part was not available until the next morning. Tech (Lee) called me early Tuesday morning telling me he was on the way. He arrived mid morning Wednesday and installed the new part, had the AC unit up and running before 11:00AM.



I found Lee Watson to be highly professional, extremely competent and a great spokesman for his company.



Effective immediately I canceled the plan with my current company and signed up with Hiller. Hiller's prices are competitive with my old Heating and Air Company. However the response and Customer service is the selling point with me. When I or my family need someone, I need them now, not 3 days from now. Great job Lee and Hiller.

I called and talked to a lady that set up my appointment and then later that same day I had a service tech at the house to inspect my problem. He helped me with all the paperwork to get financed, and then returned the next day 6/22 at the exact time he said that he would to start the install of my new unit. Joiner Happy Hiller Club. Had first two inspections. Technicians arrived within scheduled time. They were very polite and helpful. Water heater was drained but temperature was not put back to what I was used to and I had a very cool shower. I increased the temp slightly and then water heater safety pipe started dripping water. Sign on water heater said this was a dangerous situation so I called your office immediately. I was pleased that they sent a plumber that day, but was shocked that I needed a new water heater as current one was only 7 years old. New heater is now working fine and I certainly hope it lasts longer than even its 10 year warranty.
